Before All Things

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You [are] God.

Psalm 90:2

The Bible is filled with knowledge, wisdom, commands, and warnings. Why should we take heed to these things? We should pay attention and commit our lives to the Bible because it is the Word of God. God is Yahweh – the eternally self-existing and self-sustaining glorious Creator of all things. As Creator, He came before all things. He clearly came before that which we see that was created, and as Yahweh, has no beginning or end. Thus, the things that He says are true in His Word must be. Who but God has been around long enough to know? Since everything comes by the effect of His glory, who but God knows what is true and right?
