Getting To Know God
His Name Is...
The LORD Our Peace - The Prince Of Peace - The Just Judge - The Praise Of God - The Perfection Of God
Praise Through Purim
And [Mordecai] sent letters to all the Jews, to the one hundred and twenty-seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, [with] words of peace and truth, to confirm these days of Purim at their [appointed] time, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had prescribed for them, and as they had decreed for themselves and their descendants concerning matters of their fasting and lamenting.
The peace of God’s people comes through the judgment of those who oppose His will and purposes. In the testimony of Esther, a man named Haman sought to eradicate Israel from the Persian empire. God worked incredible miracles with perfect precision and timing through humble people in order to judge Haman and preserve His people! Today, the Jews annually honor the impeccable salvation of God through the celebration of Purim. Purim was instituted to recognize God as the cause of Israel’s peace. The people were able to live absent the threat of Haman because God exercised His perfect power, wisdom, and judgment.
