Enthroned For Peace

The LORD sat [enthroned] at the flood, and the LORD sits as King forever. The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace.

Psalm 29:10-11

There isn’t a time in human history that speaks as profoundly to the power of God’s judgment as the flood during the days of Noah! God judged the entire planet of sin. Though the world didn’t believe God’s power and willingness to judge, He proved His perfect righteousness and authority by removing all people from the world, except eight people. God definitively proved the supremacy of His authority as Judge, showing that He has perfect control over all corruption, enabling Him to bring peace to His people in His time. He is our strength to overcome evil unto peace, because He is the Judge of all evil as He’s proved in times past.
