Prescription For Peace

I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners. "I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to [him who is] far off and to [him who is] near," Says the LORD, "And I will heal him."

Isaiah 57:18-19

The healing that the world offers is weak. Medications only suppress symptoms. Those cured of ailments and diseases still age, decay, and die, dealing with many other issues throughout. God’s healing is different. God’s omniscience enables Him to diagnose the true issue of discomfort – depravity of the soul. God’s power and authority qualifies Him to address the sickness in ways that remove the issue for good, unto eternal life. What’s the proof? Those who have received the spiritual healing of the Lord have also received His peace; not as the world gives, but as by God through Jesus who has overcome the corruption of the world.
