Shout For Joy!

Let us go into His tabernacle; let us worship at His footstool. Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength. Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let Your saints shout for joy.

Psalm 132:7-9

The Bible teaches that we as God’s people are to rejoice and be exceedingly glad! Why? We’re called to continually remember that we have access to God, to fellowship with Him! We have the privilege of entering God’s tabernacle – the place where His glory dwells. As a result, we get to worship the Lord. Yes, worshiping God is a privilege that God purposes for those who have been separated from sin, by Him. God separates us from sin, corruption, and death, so that we can be where He is; detached from the labor of sin, to rest with Him. It’s the holy work of Jesus that enables this benefit. Isn’t that a good enough reason to rejoice?
