Getting To Know God
His Name Is...
The LORD Who Sanctifies - The Tabernacle - The Worship Of God - The Holiness Of God
Out Of Egypt
I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. I [am] the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that [you] should not be their slaves; I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.
God is pure, holy, undefiled, and perfect in every way. We, on the other hand, are conceived in sin, and born spiritually separated from God. Only God can fix this issue. God swore to set His tabernacle with the people. The tabernacle, the place where God’s presence dwelt, refers to His will to be with His people, connected in fellowship, provoking pure worship. For this to take place, God had to separate His people from Egypt, and the bondage they faced there. This is what God’s sanctification does: Separates us from the bondage of sin, death, and hell, so that we can dwell in the presence of the holy God, worshiping Him the way He deserves.
