Separated From Corruption

For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

Psalm 16:10

God desires our worship in response to the fellowship we have with Him, when sin is done away with; but death is a hindrance to worship. So, eternal life is essential! Jesus’ resurrection provides proof that He is the Lord Who Sanctifies, enabling our worship, so that He should be the subject of our worship. King David prophesied that the Father would not allow His “Holy One” to see corruption. Jesus was raised up from the corruption of the grave. This proved to David that his own soul would not be left in Sheol, but like the Holy One, would be separated from corruption, able to worship God, through eternal life in His presence.
