The prophet Micah was privileged to receive revelation concerning the birth of the Messiah. He wrote that the Messiah, the Seed of the woman; the suitable sacrifice; the King of Israel; the strong arm of God, was to be born in the city of Bethlehem. Micah taught that the Lord God Almighty would take the form of flesh to do what no mere man could do according to His infinite grace. He would be born from a woman to pay the human price of sin - death. The natural desire to reject God would be addressed by God Himself, dealing with spiritual matters from a physical body!
