Getting To Know God
His Name Is...
The LORD Who Provides - The Promised SEED - The Grace of God - The Intercession Of God
Proof Of Provision
“For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to [them], even so the Son gives life to whom He will.”
Adam and Eve’s sin caused a two-fold consequence: death to the spirit and the body. Death to the spirit happened immediately. Humanity was spiritually separated from God. It took the early generations a long time to die, but they did. Now, all people die to prove that there is an issue with our spiritual nature. It’s corrupt. God’s promise of “the Seed,” addressing the issues that sin causes, must address the spiritual AND physical penalties of sin. When Jesus came, He proved that He had power to give life back to those who were physically dead. This proves He is God in flesh, interceding in life to provide grace, fixing the soul unto eternal life.
