The Flow Of God's Goodness
“For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. “The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.”
John 3:34-35

The English word “love” is a tough word to understand, especially as it relates to the Bible. The concept of Jesus as the “Son of God” is sometimes, just as hard. The context of the Bible defines “love” as the Father’s revelation of Jesus as the “Son of God” for the purpose of offering forgiveness of sins, peace with the Father, and eternal life as the fulfillment of all of God’s promises. The description of Jesus as the “Son of God” refers to His identity as God in flesh. Jesus taught that He came as God in flesh, has all authority in His hands, to distribute the goodness of the Father through the conduit of “love.”
