Knowing The Unknowable

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.

1 Timothy 3:16

The Bible admits that God is mysterious. This doesn’t mean that He can’t be known, but that He must be known by certain means – through the Gospel. Without faith in the testimony of the triune God, the hidden things of God remain unknown. The mind of the Father took the form of flesh as Jesus. The Holy Spirit validated Jesus as God. Angels, Jews, and Gentiles were witness to this public confirmation. Millions of believers throughout history, filled with God’s Spirit, also testify of this truth. All that to say that, God is exactly who He says He is, and His promises are true, proven by the ridiculous abundance of evidence.
