Getting To Know God
His name is...
The Creator - The Light - The Glory - Aseity
Holy, Holy, Holy!
And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy [is] the LORD of hosts; the whole earth [is] full of His glory!"
The sun is arguably the brightest object that we can relate to. It is sufficient to provide light for half of the planet. Yet, for as bright as the sun is, its weak. If there are clouds, the sun is hidden. At night, the sun can’t reach the other end of the earth. This is not true of God. The universe is filled with the glory of God, and will be filled more so in the end. The glory of the LORD is so transcendent that the angels of heaven proclaim His holiness, His uniqueness, His separateness for all eternity. This is how angels respond to God’s glory. We should follow that example based on what He teaches us of His glory and the supremacy of it!
