"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”

Acts 20:28

How do we know that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all One? The authority that we have to take care of one another as the church comes from the Holy Spirit. The Spirit has equal authority over God’s church. We know the church belongs to God because He is the One that purchased it. God purchased the church with “His own blood” referring to the crucifixion of Jesus. This means that our privilege as the church is based on the purchase God made through the blood of His flesh as Jesus, also through the distribution of ability by His Spirit. If one part is missing, it doesn’t work and we don’t benefit.
