Meant For Good

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; [but] God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as [it is] this day, to save many people alive.”

Genesis 50:20

The Bible teaches that love does not intend harm upon others. The Bible also teaches that God is love. Therefore, though bad things happen in life, God does not intend to cause harm. God is able to take the evil circumstances of life, and somehow use them for His good purposes. How does God bring good out of evil? That is part of His nature as wonderful. The Father shows who He is through the manifestation of His identity as the Son. His Spirit shows these qualities in our lives so that His goodness can destroy the works of evil, which is the means by which we are able to escape hell. God reveals whom He is to save us from death.
