Righteous Love

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

Psalm 45:7

The righteousness of God is hard to understand. God knows this. That’s why He took the form of flesh to show us what true righteousness looks like. He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to show us what “right” really is. By God revealing His righteousness through His Anointed – Jesus Christ - we are able to see the problems that really exist in our lives that are sufficient to send us to hell. We are able to see the way of escape too! It might be hard to understand how God did this, but He showed Himself to be right so that we could see what is wrong and receive His solution. Now that’s love!
