Pouring Out The Love

“Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.”

Acts 2:33

The Day of Pentecost in Acts Chapter 2 was a wild day! It must have been quite a spectacle to see people native to one culture understand languages that were foreign to them. It’s hard to imagine a scenario where a person who’s never understood one language can suddenly understand it in a moment of time. Yet, that’s what the Bible says. But why shouldn’t this be possible? If God could take the form of flesh to manifest the miracle of the resurrection, couldn’t He also fill the hearts, minds, and mouths of His people by His Spirit to proclaim the wonderful nature of His promises? Sure, God is hard to understand, but amazing to behold.
