Hard To Understand

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

God taught that He would be called various things; but the first name He listed was “Wonderful,” meaning, “difficult to understand.” God said that He would be born as a child, adopted through that birth, and carry the world government on His shoulders. How does that happen? God took the form of flesh, born by Mary, given unto adoption through Joseph, and as the Mighty God called “Teacher,” proved His everlasting nature through His death and resurrection. In this manner, Jesus is the administrator of peace, offering forgiveness towards our offenses against Him. Can anyone really understand such a quality of love as this?
