This Is Eternal Life...

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

John 17:3

We don’t need to be dead to enjoy enteral life. If we’re willing to humbly seek God now, we can enjoy the benefits of eternal life right now! According to Jesus, eternal life is simply the knowledge of the eternal God. The more we know God, the deeper into eternity we dwell, regardless of our physical position. We come to know God by His Word. Jesus is proof that eternal life can functionally exist in this life. This is the essence of God’s unchanging greatness: He is able to manifest His eternal qualities through our lives when we die to “self” in order to know Him according to His Word, unto our blessing that satisfies the soul.
