Getting To Know God

The Most High God, Melchizedek, The Goodness Of God, The Transcendence Of God

In Jeremiah Chapter 32 God commanded Jeremiah to buy a field from his uncle while in prison, and while the region of Judah was under siege by Babylon. The context of this showed that God doesn’t need favorable conditions to make fruitful purchases. When Jesus took the scroll from the Father, it showed the fulfillment of God’s promise to redeem that which He previously purchased under distressful circumstances (the crucifixion), like Jeremiah. He is the One who gave His blood by His superior goodness to redeem the world to the Father. The Book of Revelation simply shows what Jesus will do to take that which is already His.
