There are a lot of places that we put our trust. We hope that our personal ambitions and worldview will suffice to satisfy us and please God. The scriptures don’t support this hope. Instead, the scriptures teach that God is exalted HIGH above all things we normally trust in. God is bigger and FAR more superior than the hopes and dreams we come up with. God is eternally greater than our worldview and personal philosophies. Our opinions or thoughts aren’t worthy to be considered next to the truth about who God really is. When we consider God, we should remember that His superior goodness is excessively greater than anything we can imagine.
